Frequently asked questions
Who is Mystery House suitable for?
Mystery House is perfect for groups of 2-8 people who like to solve mysteries and fun challenges together. There are 3 unique bedrooms with space for a total of 8 people. Excellent for groups of friends, families, bachelor parties or work groups.
How difficult and how long does it take to solve the mystery?

You can choose between two levels of difficulty, let us know what you want when booking.
It is planned that you can also have time to sit and enjoy yourself inside or out on the terrace, maybe go out for a snack or order takeaway and still have time to stroll around and explore beautiful Lillesand.
Is Mysteriehuset suitable for children?
Yes, but the tasks and puzzles are probably difficult enough that they are best suited for children from 10-12 years of age accompanied by adults. There are some sinister subject matters, so co-sleeping is recommended for young children.
What kind of facilities are there in the house?
The mystery house must be uncovered and experienced firsthand, therefor we do not want to reveal too much, BUT:
3 distinctive bedrooms ready made; one room with double bed 180X200, one room with family bunk 120x210 / 90x210 and one room with family bunk 120x200 / 90x200. Refrigerator with drinks, kettle and dishwasher, cutlery and crockery. Lillesand's smallest shower and a shared toilet for your whole group. Towels. Terrace, living room, and - an unknown number of hidden rooms! Stairs, but unfortunately no elevator.
Are we locked inside and have to complete the mission within a certain time?
No, you have your own key and full freedom to explore Lillesand's restaurants and beautiful streets. In the Mystery House, there is not a set time pressure to get out of a room within an hour, but you spend the night in the house and can really enjoy the experience with your entourage. Check in after 3 pm and check out before 11 am the next day.
Is this Norway's only Mystery House?
Yes! Mystery House has brought elements from EscapeRoom, but the story is inspired by real events from here in Agder.
Is there a possibility of parking?

There is a public car park, Bankplassen, just outside Mystery House. Free parking for two hours applies to the entire center of Lillesand, but between 17.00 and 08.00 there are no restrictions on the time you can park.
